Staff use a wide range of assessment approaches, allowing all children to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, attributes and capabilities.
Assessment evidence and information is used effectively to understand progress and to plan next steps.
Assessment information is shared with learners who are supported in using this to identify strengths and areas for development.

Quality of Teaching

All staff know our learners well and have high and achievable expectations of each individual.
Staff plan and differentiate effectively ensuring appropriate support and challenge.
Staff strive to facilitate high-quality learning through engaging in CLPL which impacts positively on their practice and outcomes for learners.
Staff understand the importance of utilising different learning environments, and outdoor learning is an integral part of our curriculum.

Planning, Tracking & Monitoring

Planning is informed by clear progressions and identifies what is to be learned and assessed across the curriculum but allows for flexibility and is responsive to the needs and interests of our learners.
Robust systems are in place for tracking and monitoring wellbeing, progress and achievement.
Data is analysed regularly and informs improvement planning for learners, staff and school.
