Facebook – Craigievar School Parent Page

The parents have a private Facebook page to which all parents of pupils at Craigievar School are invited to join.  Find us on Facebook by searching ‘Craigievar School Parent Page’.  This is very useful for letting each other know if a bus is running late / school jumpers that may have gone missing etc.

Parent Council

All parents at Craigievar School are welcome to attend meetings of the Parent Council.  The Parent Council email is: pcptacraigievar@gmail.com

PTA

Craigievar School PTA is a sub-committee of the Parent Council.  All Parents at Craigievar School are members of the PTA. However, a committee consisting of a Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and up to 12 committee members manage the business of the Association. The PTA committee meets regularly to discuss various Fund Raising and Social Events.The aims of the PTA are:

• To promote co-operation between parents and teachers in everything pertaining to the well being of the school and its pupils. 

• To afford opportunities for the discussion and study of all matters relating to the education and welfare of the pupils.

• To encourage the development of social activities among parents and teachers.

• To organise or facilitate activities for the children of an educational, sporting or social nature.
